About the Bud E Fifield Memorial Run

Why there is a Bud E Fifield Memorial Run?

Bud Fifield was a Pemberton Township Police Officer for over 26 years. He was a dedicated officer with a continued passion to help those who became victims of Domestic Violence.  As an officer of the law, he enforced the laws protecting victims and prosecuting the abusers.  When he retired from an official capacity as a law officer, his dedication to victims of Domestic Violence did not stop.  Bud became the coordinator for the Burlington County Domestic Violence Response Team.  This volunteer organization works along side of police departments offering information to victims on programs and assistance available to them.

Bud had several passions in his life; his family, his career, his dedication to Domestic Violence and running.  We, his family, know the best way we could honor his life is to combine all of these and continue his plight for victims of Domestic Violence.

This annual run is dedicated to Bud and to the victims who have suffered the abuse of Domestic
Violence.  All proceeds will be donated to the
Domestic Violence Advocacy Center here in Burlington County.  It is our hope that we can continue his passion and dedication
